FLUID BED DRYER
Ravi Kiran Make Fluid Bed Dryer is a unique, multipurpose machine suitable for the drying of wet powders, granules, crystalline & coarse powders and similar materials for the pharmaceutical, Active Pharma Ingredients (API), Pharma intermediates, chemical, food, and allied industries. Due to its unique design and flexibility, the drying time and loss of material is greatly reduced thereby increasing production.
Equipment Design
The fluid bed dryer is a batch operation. The operation of the fluid bed dryer is very simple whereby the drying of the material takes place by forced air circulation inside the expansion chamber. The Ravi Kiran fluid bed dryer works on negative pressure principle, where there is a blower placed at a remote location and connected by the suitable duct, to the main chamber to create a negative pressure inside the chamber. The process air passes through the filter panels with different micron rating, is heated to the required temperature through the steam or electrical heaters as per the model selected, the final filtration is through a Hepa filter. The purified air is then passed into the chamber where it creates fluidization for faster product drying.
Salient Features
- All contact parts are S.S. 316 L quality and the bottom chamber, blower chamber explosion chamber, supporting structure, trolley, etc are also in S.S. 316 quality. As per GMP requirements.
- Automatic pneumatic bag shaking arrangement.
- Air processing unit provided with pre filter of 10 micron and final filter of 3 micron rating High Temperature.
- Pneumatic lifting for product container.
- Temperature controller for electrical heaters / steam radiator.
- Quick action butterfly valve ensures that the systems is totally contained and enclosed.
- Explosion flap with aluminium flap to protect from pressure building inside the chamber.
- Remote placement of blower outside the production area.
- Remote placement of inlet air processing unit outside the production area.
